The hike to the summit of Gaustatoppen is a challenging but rewarding experience. The trail starts at the parking lot near the mountain cabin, and it takes about 3-4 hours to reach the summit. The trail is well-marked and relatively easy to follow, but it can be steep and rocky in places, so sturdy hiking boots are recommended.

Along the way, hikers will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the picturesque Tinnsjøen Lake and the nearby town of Rjukan.
